The museum has an additional display area in its basement. A 35 ft x 40 ft room had a concrete floor installed last month. The floor was made possible by grants and fundraising. Grants were obtained from the CHC Foundation, Ashton Community Foundation, and Blackfoot Communications. Susan Sullivan ran the Flea Market for a week and the proceeds went toward the basement room upgrade. The floor was installed by David Clark Construction.
