Museum of the Henry's Fork

The Museum houses exhibits, objects, and records relating to Fremont County’s history. Historic exhibit themes include trapping and trading, farming, Bear Gulch Ski Area, the railroad, everyday living, the military, American Dog Derby (sled dog race), farming, Historic Ashton Christmas Village, and much more! It operates under the direction of the Fremont County Historical Society. The Museum admission is free, donations are gladly accepted. Museum hours vary, please call for an appointment.

For admittance at other times, please contact Mary at (208)-681-4082 or Tom at (208)-313-7300. During the winter, the museum may close due to bad weather, please check Ashton News and/or the Museum Facebook page for any closures or changes in museum hours.
