The Idaho Liberty Bell visits the museum

The Idaho Liberty Bell made a visit to the Museum of Henry's Fork, Tuesday, September 8th .To commemorate America’s 250th anniversary, Idaho officials are reliving 1950 tour of Liberty Bell replica across the state’s 44 counties. The bell — modeled after the cracked original in Philadelphia that has become a national symbol — was one of many cast and given to states in an effort to sell U.S. savings bonds, according to a history of the bell prepared by the Idaho State Historical Society.

Ashton 4th graders were invited to come see the bell and each had the opportunity to ring the bell.
